When you save GreenTix, you become GreenTix Ranger. You own the GreenTix you have collected. This means you have a share in a tree and CO2 compensation.
Digital Security
GreenTix CarbonCoin are not based on blockchain technology (such as bitcoin or etherium) and should not be viewed as such in any way. The GreenTix CarbonCoin is a digital unit based on CO2 compensation, secured with encryption so that each GreenTix has a unique number (hash). An infinite number of GreenTix can be created with the same number of crypto codes (hashes).
Price and value
GreenTix have a fixed purchase price of 5 euro cents and a fixed CO2 compensation value of 7,15 kilos.
GreenTix can only be transferred to other Rangers within the platform, they cannot be traded. GreenTix's mission is to plant trees anywhere in the world and to connect people anywhere in the world with that mission.
Traceable code
Because the GreenTix are digitally secured, your GreenTix have its own unique code and are therefore always traceable. When you have collected 140 GreenTix, you know that a tree has been planted for you in the project you have chosen. You immediately start compensating for CO2 and contributing to the climate.
CO2 Compensation
The tree that is planted is no longer yours but is cared for by the communities. Your GreenTix is in your GreenTix Wallet and remains yours, just like the CO2 compensation value. The more GreenTix you collect as a Ranger, the more CO2 you compensate. The more GreenTix you save, the thicker your carbon offset wallet becomes and the greater your contribution to the climate.
By logging in to your dashboard, you can see exactly how much GreenTix you have collected, how many trees that are, and how much CO2 you are compensating for. If you click on the GreenTix, you will see the unique traceable code. In your transaction history you can see exactly which GreenTix you received and from whom.
